You’ve probably all heard about it… but have you had a chance to see it yet? I’m talking about the much-talked-about TOYOTA sign now lording over Wrigley Field.
Fine. The franchise needs to generate money to keep this lovely park on the map and in the black. And these photos pretty clearly illustrate that it won’t go unnoticed, inside OR… out of the ballpark.
But what about the missed opportunity here? The TOYOTA logo is perfectly symmetrical and thus — able to be read successfully from the front or back. So why construct supports that screw that up? Baseball season is finite… but the view from outside runs all year long.
